Our stay at Villa
Iguana was perfect for a Covid holiday. We did not leave the house at all, the
beach is right in front of the house and it was not crowded since only guests
of the Villas on that beach have access. Myner and Claudia cooked for us 3 meals
a day and they were all fantastic, including some on the grill. They kept the
house very clean and always with a smile. The house is very nice and clean,
perfect for a group of 10. It's in great shape, furniture clean, linens and
towels are good. Beach is wonderful. Villa Iguana was great and we hope to return soon.

This house is a beautiful, well kept & safe property within a few feet of a protected bay. The staff is honest and caring, and every need was met with enthusiasm and a smile. Chef Emilio Talancon was EXCELLENT! Unbelievable exquisitely prepared meals lovingly prepared for us twice a day. It was a luxury with a very reasonable price.

We stayed in this home for one week, 2 families both with two kind (ages 5 and 8). It was perfect! The pool was a big hit and provided lots of entertainment when we were home. Very comfortable home. There was several highlights of staying in the house. The turtles laying eggs on the beach every night we saw several of them and it was truly magical experience. The housekeeper and groundskeeper were the most friendly sweetest people. The woman who lives on the property was beyond helpful. We had a chef, Irma come in 3 nights and she was amazing to say the least- the food was incredible and so was the service! I really can't say enough

My self, my wife, three other couples and their children stayed at VIlla Iguana in July 2015 to celebrate one members upcoming birthday. Read the review form from Vriginia, USA. I will second all of those remarks as to not repeat information. Ok, I will repear a little. Here wre the highlights of our stay. Beautiful relaxed enviroment. The managers, Mayner and Claudia are super helpful and super nice. We chose to have Claudia prepare dinner for five of our seven nights. That was a trear wether is be somethimg simple or the chiles rellenos. Everything was wonderful. We had a total of 12 people. Eight adults and four children. We spnt plenty of days and evenings just enjopying each others company and it never felt crowded. There was enough to be alone and enogh space to all gather together. The only major issue was an over abundance of Sargasso (sea grass) that chocked the beach and made getting to the water difficult. BUT, this was not an issue exclusive to Villa Iguana. The entire coast line, the entire Caribbean fot that matter, was having a particularly difficul time with sea grass this year. So, in the end, it was infortunate, but hardly the fault of anyone related to Villa Iguana. The did they could. Would I recommmend the property? Yes. Would I back to Villa Iguana? Yes. Do I think about loungging in the hammocks on the beach? All the time. Enjoy

I would just like to thank you for all your help in making our vacation a truly wonderful experience. Your assistance in securing the house and our transport and providing answers to all my questions in a timely manner was greatly appreciated. We loved the house, the location and above all the caretakers, Claudia and Myner. They went beyond all expectations to make our stay extra special. Claudia is a fabulous cook. It was a pleasure to meet Gustavo and he also was helpful. Again, thanks for all you help and hope to book with you in the future.

Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to experience a wonderful week al Villa Iguana. The House is very nice, a slept our large group of 10 men.The views are remarkable the days seemgo to crawl by as if time stopped. Claudia and Myner took care of every detail, to make it seem as if we were at home. The fooog waas fabolous, house always, and the pool and beach beautiful all day long. OUR WONDERFUL STAY AT VILLA IGUANA We had a great time with our family in Villa Iguana, the complete equipment of the house is outstanding, the outdoor furniture is so confortable, may be is neccesary to complete some missing units of the snorkeling equipment, just to say a little detail to improve; but is a house with a very good owner eye looking everything. PERFECT FAMILY VACATION We enjoyed a perfect vacation with our extended family (10 people). The house had big common areas and plenty of smaller private spaces to spend time. The food that Claudia prepared was excellent and she and Myner were very sweet and helpful. The snorkeling in Soliman Bay was wonderful 5 out of 7 days. There is a lot to do in the surrounding area. The house, pool, beach and bay was very kid friendly. The beds were comfortable. The only thing was the directions to the house were confusing and took both parties a lot of trial and error to find. Great vacation!!!

Ask for the fish in garlic butter sauce or guajillo pepper sauce, fish or shrimp tacos and ceviche.For breakfast try huevos motuleños for an authentic Mexican treat.We only made one trip to Tulum's San Francisco market - where we were daily customers last year - because Antonio did all the shopping for us.He even went to the liqueur store!!And cooked special meals (pasta, hamburgers and pancakes) for the 4 and 6 years old.The blender fired up the just round of pre-launch margaritas at noon, which Antonio served pool side.Aside from the quick jaunt to Tulum and a magical day at Xel-Ha we never left the house.Why bother, Paradise was right here.Thanks for sharing your home.
