Covid-19 antigen test GUIDE
at Hotel Akumal Caribe
Thank you for being a client of
Akumal Villas and we have made this process easy for
you to come down and enjoy your
holiday with us. Please read this carefully and save
for your information. You will
need your passport and the address of your accommodations
to bring with you, as well. Once
you have paid, our reservations staff will send you the official
address of your villa.
The Cost of the test is $39USD
and has 2 parts:
- The first part is to
pay, by credit card, $20usd that will pay for the actual test supplies.
Once you have
paid through our secure CC
system, you will receive a payment acknowledgement by email. Please keep
this email as you will need to
show it to the testing lobby staff to prove that you have paid for the tests
that you require. Akumal Villas
has already pre-purchased the test to guarantee availability, for you.
- Once you have paid for
the test and confirmed your appointment, you will need to go to the
testing
center(location below) to check
in, show them your payment receipt and pay the doctors’ fee of $19usd.

confirm the day and time that
you should be at the testing center Hotel Club Akumal Caribe Lobby.
Testing Center Days and Hours:
Monday
9:30 -11:30 am
Wednesday
9:30 – 11:30 am
Friday 4:00
– 06:00 pm
Test Center Location: The test
center is located at the side of the Akumal Entrance Archway in the Hotel Club
Akumal Caribe’s reception
Lobby. Please go to office
to sign in and pay the $19usd doctor’s fee. Once you are checked in and paid,
the lobby staff will send
you upstairs to the Testing
area. Please wear your mask, at all times.
Once you have finished the
testing process, you will need to wait outside 20
minutes to wait for the results.
You will received a signed official result from
the Dr. that you can use to
present your Negative result to the airlines. If you
receive a Positive result, it is
recommended that you immediately take the PCR
test to confirm the positive
result. If that is also positive, Akumal Villas can help
you with information on further
accommodations and help.
