	Rhett Schober Rhett Schober, a native of Vail Colorado, came to the Yucatan 20 years ago on Scholarship to study Mayan Archaeology in Izamal Yucatan. His first encounter with Akumal came on a break from his studies to go fly fishing. After college Rhett went to work in Japan for 10 years where he met his beautiful wife Kazue. Together they have a very cute daughter Beniko! After Japan, Rhett spent several years in Vail working in the fly fishing guide business. Six years ago Rhett and Kazue decided to move down to Akumal to start a property management company and be closer to his mother Isabel Schober. Now as the new owner of Akumal Villas, Rhett is even more committed to serving the owners, guests and community with care and diligence.
	Eddie Garza Hi, my name is Eduardo Garza and everybody calls me Eddie. I am originally from Monterrey, N.L. in northern Mexico. I have been living in the Riviera Maya since 2005. I think life is too short and that is why I chose this marvelous place to share my life with my family. I have always liked to interact with foreign people and I have found that opportunity here. Please believe me if I say it is a great pleasure to meet and serve you because service is my vocation! I hope to meet you soon.
	Mari Jo Roda I often escaped the cold MN winters by coming to the Caribbean for scuba diving. My first experience in Akumal was in 1996 when I spent a wonderful week with friends in an oceanfront villa. In Santa Cruz, California, I worked for a luxury villa rental company for 7 years. I continued to travel to other parts of Mexico, but I was always dreaming of the crystal-clear, warm waters of the Caribbean. When I took a year hiatus to travel, I passed through Akumal again and this time I decided to stay. Today I'm very happy to be a part of the team at Akumal Villas. 	Maria Laurent Hola, my name is Maria and I am from Monterrey. I have lived in the Riviera Maya between Cancun and Tulum since 1989. I lived in Akumal for 11 years and here gave birth to my 3 beautiful children; Sabina, Gael and Regina. Right now I am living in Puerto Aventuras. I am so happy to join the Akumal Villas staff as I have known the team for so many years and I feel great working with them. 	Gutavo Guerra My name is Gustavo, I am proudly a Mexican and I was born in Jalisco, the land of the Mariachi and Tequila. My birth sign is Leo and my favorite sports are swimming and riding my bike. My hobby is ecology, but I think it is not only a hobby, it is an obligation. Everyone should take care of Mother Nature. I am a very lucky man. God gave me many treasures -- my wife Ena and my three children; Ailee, Emmanuel and baby, Regina. Also, my parents, five brothers and three sisters. I am healthy, I have an awesome job, and I live in paradise! What else could I ask for? Maybe to win the lottery?
	Claudia Herrejon Abud Hola, I'm Claudia and I come from Puebla, México. I decided to live in the Riviera Maya by a hunch 4 years ago and I'm so glad I followed my instincts. Now I'm here in this paradise full of the best landscapes I've ever seen and the best vibe I've ever felt. I have a 12-year old daughter, Estefanía. My hobbies are listening to music, the movies and singing. I've lived in Costa Rica and the United States, love to travel and meet people all around the world and learn all about the diversity this life has to bring.
