Casa de los Suenos provided the perfect retreat for 10 eager vacationers.Upon arrival, the beautiful house, bay and overall view was captivating.Ranging from 10 months old to an undisclosed larger value, our desires, dreams and expectations were diverse.Wonderfully, I believe each and all were experienced and fulfilled.The property provides the perfect seclusion from the “outside world”, while the many other bountiful treasures of Akumal (beautiful beaches, fabulous food, friendly locals, and amazing flora and fauna) provide entertainment for grandparent and grandchild alike.Highlights of our trip included frozen chocolate bananas at La Lunita, snorkeling with turtles, rays and barracuda, drinks at La Buena Vida, relaxing at the pool, Pascuala’s phenomenal feast, wading in crystal-clear waters and the perfect coastal breeze at night.Thank you so much for sharing your astonishing “dream” house with us.It has been an experience that will never be forgotten and will be shared with all who are willing to listen and forever be a mental escape; a needed release; a dream!

We stepped over the threshold of your house of dreams on a late Saturday afternoon.The curtains were open and the many blue-green hues of the lagoon, the while limestone and the dark green vegetation were reflected in the bright décor of the house.They say that we don’t often dream in color, but the colorful palate of this week is what I will take home to brighten my days when they become a little to earth tone.

This place is fabulous, claim the hammock first, it is great lying there, just catching the ocean.The sounds of the waves are very calming especially at night.If you want to go snorkeling either go to Yal-ku or the public beach in Akumal.If you go to the public beach you will see turtles, barracudas and tons of fish.Remember: put tons of sunscreen on the back of your legs, (they burn easily, I know!!)The pool is great.It was the perfect depth for us to play games in.Everyone here is so friendly; just say "hola" and almost everyone replies.Pascuala and Simon were amazing.The cooking is amazing (with lots of leftovers for lunch the next day).The house was always clean.It was very fun talking to them.It involved some Spanish, gestures and tons of laughter (the "universal language") we had lots of good foods.Even if you order the same dish at two different places, each has its own little twist.Overall, this place is great and vacations are made very memorable!!

And lastly, the other parents of this large group (Schroeters with 3 kids) and us, the Harrisons with 3 kids – 10 in all, with plenty of room.Our first trip to Mexico, and I guess we have been spoilt here by the view, the snorkeling and the general friendliness.Fabulous time - house is perfect.Public beach is great for kids because it is gradual, and you can still see plenty in the not so deep waters – turtles and colorful fishes.But the lagoon is a more adventure snorkel, with the coral and variety of fish.Tulum is worth a visit to the main street in the evening - a little less resort like.But Akumal resort is a perfect base.Eat at the open cafe by the super Chomak for a cheap but good meal (in Akumal) Hope you enjoy because we sure have.

Kudos!You truly have created the house of dreams and Villa de los Sueños lives up to its name in every respect.Take off your watch, turn off your cell and leave your schedule behind.Let the waves lull you to sleep and coax you awake in the morning.Take time to explore and appreciate the hand work of God and the beauty of this place, but beware of Akumal Tattoos (scrapes, cuts and bruises)Simon and Pascuala are wonderful blessings, they will care for you by day and Ishmael will watch over you by night.Breathe, listen to the waves, rest, relax, enjoy great food, swim, snorkel, sightsee... We are so happy that we chose Casa de los Sueños as our vacation villa!It has been so peaceful and relaxing.The setting is so very lovely and the home had everything we needed to make our holiday a wonderful experience.We echo all the previous comments about Pascuala and Simon, they are both very sweet and humble people.Having Pascuala cook at least one meal for you is a must!We will definitely recommend this beautiful villa to our friends.Blessings to you.
