The Playacar Golf Club is a fabulous 18 hole golf course designed by the Architect Robert Von Hagge. Carved into lush vegetation and located just yards away from the Caribbean Sea, it is one of the most popular golf courses in the region and is recognized as one of the top golf courses in the World. Any food or beverage consumed at the golf course by the guests is included in the green fee. Other services include rental clubs, practice range, putting and chipping greens, locks, showers, clubs storage, lessons and merchandise.

Mayakoba

Mayakoba is probably the nicest signature course on the Riviera Maya. This course was created around one of the Cenote  sink hole systems that are indicative of this area. Mayakoba is about 15 minutes north of Playa Del Carmen and about 45 minutes north of Akumal. The green fees include lunch snacks and drinks. You will be impressed.

Moon Palace Golf Club

The Moon Palace Golf Club is home to the only Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course in Cancún, located 60 miles north of Akumal. Its dynamic layout requires golfers to navigate through native vegetation as well as numerous wetlands and strategically placed bunkers. Each of the three-nine hole courses offers a distinctive environment that challenges professionals and amateurs.

The green fees offer transportation from anywhere in Cancun and the Riviera Maya, as well as food and beverages at the Club House, a shared cart and the snacks along the course. Other services include rental clubs, practice range, putting and chipping greens, lockers, showers, clubs storage, lessons and merchandise.

The Cozumel Country Club is this island first golf course and the Riviera Maya's newest championship test of golf, and it took five years to be sculpted in the limestone and out the coral and saltwater marshes at the northwest shores of Cozumel island.

This wonderful golf course carved from the Maya jungle is environmentally friendly; it was carefully crafted from the surrounding mangrove, marshlands and tropical rainforest to preserve its environmental integrity and it possess very thick vegetation around it, which makes easier to collect the balls.

Created to provide a first-class golf test for players of any skill levels, Cozumel Country Club offers a challenging experience to the serious golfer and allows an enjoyable surrounding for the not so serious one. It provides, in addition, a well-equipped golf store, a snack bar, as well as two tiered tees with plenty of room for practice or just warm up, a putting green and chipping green with a practice bunker.

North Akumal now has a brand new tennis court which is available for public use! The rate is $20.00 US an hour if you brought your own racket and tennis balls or $35.00 US an hour if you need to rent tennis equipment. Please pay all fees and rent all gear at the Las Casitas office which is located at the left of the giant arch and underneath the yoga studio as you enter town. The tennis courts are open daily from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
